Last Sunday’s thrilling European Championship final brought our wonderful public viewing to an end.

A month full of unforgettable moments, a fantastic and unique atmosphere in the Kursaal Park lies behind us. Hoping for good or dry weather was our constant companion. This time was a great experience and a real challenge for our entire team.

Despite everything, we managed to successfully master the daily business with a large congress with 80 exhibitors and 1000 guests
as well as other events in addition to the public viewing.

The highlights of the past month

The Swiss national team matches  |   were always an absolute highlight. Regardless of whether we had to broadcast the match indoors or outdoors, the atmosphere was unique.

The fans flocked in large numbers, clad in red and white, creating an impressive image of unity and support. In the park, surrounded by natural beauty, the fans created a vibrant and rousing backdrop with their flags and chants. The shared experience in the open air strengthened the sense of community and made the enthusiasm even more tangible. It was a unique celebration that we were able to experience together with the fans. After the two victories, the joy knew no bounds. There was cheering, dancing and endless group hugs.

Drums2Streets  |  A spectacular concert! Plastic buckets, rain barrels, rubble and a stage: that’s all the drummers need to put on an explosive show. The result is impressive: a captivating mixture of pulsating rhythms and masterful mallet acrobatics.

The energy and passion was transferred to the audience and created an unforgettable atmosphere. Every beat, every rhythm and every movement was perfectly orchestrated and demonstrated great skill and creativity. The concert was not only an auditory but also a visual highlight. The combination of rhythmic precision and acrobatic performance left the audience amazed and created an exuberant atmosphere.

Mr. Topps on Tour  |  Of course, Mr Topps visited the best EM public viewing! While the fans watched the exciting Switzerland match, a lively and colourful atmosphere developed around the sticker exchange. Children and adults alike were looking for the last missing stickers to complete their collections. Mr Topps, the likeable mascot character, provided lots of fun and enthusiasm.

He posed for photos, handed out exclusive stickers and provided fans with tips and tricks. The sticker exchange not only offered the opportunity to get rid of duplicate stickers, but also promoted dialogue and community among the fans.

Klischée – the Feel Good Electro Swing Troupe with Joko Magic  |  Cheers, hustle and bustle, disco ball! Klischée breathes new life into the music of days gone by in a cheeky and playful way. With deep basses and pumping beats, combined with swinging melodies, virtuoso jazz solos, soulful vocals and crazy synthesiser sounds, they create a unique sound.

What a concert! The beats could be heard from afar on the Höhenmatte and drew people into the Kursaal Park. The perfect opportunity to dance the night away and celebrate the summer vibes in beautiful weather!

Energy invites you  |  The Energy Bern team, including Roger Schürch and Luzi Fricker, invited you to the best EM public viewing.

Fans and listeners had the opportunity to take part in the prize draw via radio or social media and spend the evening of 19 June with the Energy team with the all-you-can-eat-and-drink offer in the Kursaal-Park.

The Energy team and around 60 guests were able to watch the game in the exclusive Lallier Lounge.

Big Sam – Meister der Flammen |  Suitable for the final evening, we wanted to offer our visitors something special again and engaged BIG SAM, who prepared the BBQ for us with his team.

A 500kg cow was grilled in a specially built barbecue by BIG SAM. The whole event started on Saturday morning and the cow cooked under close supervision until Sunday afternoon.

We hope our visitors enjoyed it as much as we did. A big thank you to SAM and his team for coming round!
