Through a 10 metre long, magnificently decorated and illuminated tunnel, you enter the heart of the market,
where an 8 metre high Christmas tree, decorated chalets and many magnificent decorative elements await you. Let yourself be whisked away to a magical winter wonderland full of glamour and festive atmosphere.
Between the artistically decorated stalls with handmade arts and crafts, you can experience the magic of Christmas up close.

Food and drinks at the Christmas market
In the Kursaalgarten you can indulge in the most delicious cheese specialities! Enjoy a melt-in-the-mouth fondue or a hearty raclette in the open air. To start your Christmas stroll, we recommend our delicious mulled wine – the best in the region.
Of course, the typical Christmas treats are not missing either! Look forward to the tantalising aroma of gingerbread, crispy Christmas biscuits and roasted almonds that make the winter wonderland perfect.
For those who prefer to eat cosily seated in the warmth, we recommend our Spycher restaurant.

FLYING SANTA
Experience the magical moment when Flying Santa lands with his paraglider on the Höhenmatte every evening at around 17:00 | 17:30 and delights the crowd!

SANTA RUN
Grab your friends, business colleagues or family and take part in the Santa Run through the Höhenmatte! Plenty of mulled wine awaits all thirsty Christmas runners along the way!

Light Art Exhibition Interlaken
When darkness falls, 5 illuminated buildings shine in all their splendour. Seen from above, these five shining points form this year’s Christmas star of Interlaken.
The trail of lights, lined with impressive sculptures, appears in different worlds of light and leads visitors from Interlaken East railway station directly into the heart of Interlaken to the ‘golden deer’, the landmark of Montreux Noël and thus to ‘Winterheart-Interlaken, The Home of Winterfeeling’.
